Direct Housing Landlords Needed

Our program offers a permanent housing solution to families facing homelessness.  We provide financial literacy training, parenting workshops, employment support and intensive case management designed to develop a long-term, self-sufficient tenant for you.

Who Does the Program Serve?
Families with income and a willingness to participate in all required aspects of the program (workshops and trainings, home visits and inspections).  All families have access to additional programming at University Settlement, providing critical additional support, such as groceries and childcare.

Why Should I Participate?
  • You can help a family facing homelessness become stable;
  • We act as a liaison, providing additional support to you;
  • Our weekly home visits support clients on their way towards success and self- sufficiency;
  • Our monthly home inspections provide you with an extra set of eyes on your properties;
  • Our screening process allows only those who can afford your rent payment to participate;
  • We can provide referrals for any additional properties you may have available in  the future.
