How You Can Help

Monetary gifts from individuals allow University Settlement to provide high quality services to those in need in our community. A gift of $15 to University Settlement can provide a hot meal for a family of four. A gift of $50 can provide Christmas presents for a family in need. And a gift of $100 can support a child’s transportation to and from school for an entire school year. Please consider a gift today!

University Settlement is always looking for volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested in a one-time or long-term volunteer opportunity. Examples of how the agency utilizes volunteers include:

• Afterschool tutoring

• Packing bags of groceries

• Preparing and serving meals

• Providing child care during support groups

• Serving as an “intake specialist” in the agency’s Hunger Center
