Hunger Center

University Settlement operates one of the county's largest free-choice food pantries providing well over 600 families per month with a 3 to 5 day supply of groceries.  In addition, the Center provides a hot community meal every Tuesday evening, and coordinates a monthly produce distribution. Furthermore, during the school year youth in the neighborhood are provided with a small bag of food every Friday through the Backpack Program. Through these services the Hunger Center address food insecurity and contributes to the health and wellness of Broadway-Slavic Village residents.

The Hunger Center food pantry is open Tuesday - Friday.

Community meal takes place every Tuesday from 6pm - 7pm.

The fresh produce distribution takes place on the first Monday of every month from 11am-1:30pm.
